“I could not be more delighted by this year’s results.”

Launched in 2023, the Ofgem DSO Incentive report evaluates each UK DSO based on stakeholder satisfaction and an in-depth Performance Panel Assessment comprising industry peers and experts. This rigorous process is designed to increase stakeholder responsiveness and to hold distribution network companies to account.

In the last year, the DSO’s work to improve stakeholder collaboration and satisfaction has taken a wide variety of forms. From impactful and insightful newsletters for local government stakeholders to revolutionising data sharing and redefining the flexibility market through Market Gateway, they have left no stone unturned in pursuit of excellence.

The DSO also continues to invest in a dedicated team supporting local area energy planning, working with hundreds of stakeholders a year to offer expert advice and guidance.
